Digital identity is the key technology that determines the success or failure of digital administrative services. On one hand, it must be designed in such a secure way that it meets all security, privacy and data protection requirements, e.g., those of the BSI. Innovation serving as a blueprint
We are delighted about the support of the North Rhine-Westphalian Ministry for Economic Affairs, Innovation, Digitalization and Energy, which enabled us to develop the "smartphone citizen ID" together with the two cities of Gelsenkirchen and Aachen and the Institute for Internet Security at the Westphalian University of Applied Sciences and to integrate it in administrations to launch digital administrative procedures in this way as a blueprint for the entire federal state.
